need help with download of my own sims :(

Ok, so Ive been going through and redownloading my sims I uploaded since my hard drive wipe. I cant believe how frustrating its been trying to get meshes and it wont show up in bodyshop. For the Sailor Neptune, I cant get her hair, and Ive downloaded all the hairs except for one that wont download a recolor, (mesh only) but it still wont show up. Also, my Petz sim from the Blackmoon sisters upload I did wont show up at all. None of my CC is showing for her. If anyone has this sim, at least the outfit, Id like to get her file updated if the file is busted somehow.

You see, Im not sure if its a bad upload or just my machine acting wonky. I noticed that even though I already have over 3 gigs of CC in my downloads barely any of it is showing up in bodyshop. I saw maybe 30% in regular sim building mode but when I go to create content alot more stuff is now visible, so Im stumped on why this is happening. I have all the expansions and stuff packs to date on my puter, and Ive gone over every minute detail I possibly could over the past few days thinking Ive missed a mesh or something, but I had ended up downloading stuff 2 or 3 times and had to use the cleaninstaller to get rid of all the extras I added. :(

thats at least a start, I can always redo the other things. Im hoping I get the issue fixed with the visabilty in bodyshop, because I have a few other sims not showing up as they should, like the my little pony "kimono" sim I made. I really dont want to attempt that face again, ><, any help friends?

see in the downloads folder if you have some rar or zip archive without extract.

run a scan on your downloads folder via sims PE. check to see if there are any conflicts within your packages. Not sure if it will help you but never hurts to check for issues. Also be sure you have the lastest version of the CEP. If all else fails you can move your DL folder to desktop, the delete your EA games :sims2 folder from my documents, then load the game normal, then exit. Put the DL folder back and reload the game. be sure your change the game settings back to allow CC. then exit the game and reload. All your content should show up if there are no conflicts. When I dl them early this morning, the same parts did not show up for me....I was waiting to see if anyone else had them show up completly.

Kitty I have the same problem I just thought I didn't have the right mesh. Which still might be the reason!!! So sorry wish i could help.

I'll try to help. I might have it backed up on some disc. Unfortunately I lost all my d/l and have been trying to get them back myself. I know I had some backup discs but I can't seem to find them all. I'm going to find them again.

Thanks everyone, I really, really appreciate all your help. Ive used the cleaninstaller and gone over the downloads like a fine toothed comb so I wouldnt have doubles, ect. Simpe is not opening any files so Im going to try something out I read about. Its just beig so weird. :/

My downloads are all gone, as of just before chirstmas, I goofed when removing bon voyage, left it in place and opps...all gone. The most I could offer was a fresh dl here, and I found the same you did sigh~

Ok , looks like Ive gotten most files to work now, I did a new install ect. Im still missing a few mesh files, like the chopstix hair from lorddragonstones site, the one hosted here wont work. And the neptune hair mesh and queen Beryl hair mesh is incognito. :/ Ill just have to rebuild those and place the new ones for upload. Im happy that I got the Pony sim and Petz girl back :) While Im at this, did anyone download the beds tish made for me last year? (the my little pony ones) Those arent on the site anymore and I dont have any of those textures anymore so I cant make em, if anyone has them Id be greatful for them :)

I don't have them and I looked for my backups and it seems either I'm missing a couple backup discs or I forgot to back them up. *Hits self upside the head.* I hope someone has them and can reup them for you.

Thanks for looking luvs, she wrote me last night that she was able to recover some of them, so part of her work is getting back. I was able to help her with the my little ponys...just not with everything sigh. Hugs~

I was able to recover the bed stuff- Jafa pointed the way :) Thanks oodles for that. I just have to rebuild some hairs, the ones to the links wont work. The sailor Neptune hairmesh, the Kimono Pony and Queen Beryl share hair mesh wont work, and the Darkmoon sister Katzy Cooan hair from Seductivesims isnt showing up. The one linked here for Lorddragonstone wont work, so Im thinking he had 2 versions, his site is down so I cant get the other one anymore. :( Otherthan that, Id say I had a full recovery of the uploaded stuff. Thanks bunches everyone.

Everything from his site honey was moved here for archiving before he left and it was gone. Look in his section as well as in our older meshes in the general mesh section...if it was ever here, or on his site you should find it. If he had it somewhere else, then I dont know if it is available.
