Blue Flashing Plants...

I downloaded the Pam's Magicial WaterFall CAS Screen and all of the outdoors plants form the link but theres a big flashing blue thing in the middle of it. I've seen this before but I can't fix this one even after re-downloading everything. Can someone help me please?? Thanks.

Sounds like you are missing a mesh for some part of it. Be sure you have all the meshes in your dl folder.

I do. I downloaded everything on the page that the link lead to and I even went into my DL folder and checked to see if everything was in there and it was.

hm have you removed them from your folder, in case there is a bad file, and then re placed it with the fresh dl? I still think there is a missing or not being "read" mesh involved. I get this and there are times I just cant find the way to fix it. One of the times it happens for me is after I have removed then put back my dl folder (which is something I seem to need to do regularly).

Hmmm ok I was just there on it again, and found there are two zips, did you dl and open each? Do not use q express for it....http://www.sapphiresims2.com/showthread.php?t=23321 Also she does not read this section, and I recomend that you post her on the thread asking for her advice, we are running out of ideas here.

I have all that ep packs that are out right now and yes I downloaded both the CAS Screen and the textures. I'll make a post. Thanks for all of the help so far guys.

it dose that with accerorys for me if you download all the patches that might help

EA has patches (http://thesims2.ea.com/update/?pid=Help_patches)to update and fix errors in our games. Thanks Snowflake, thats one I didnt think of! Hehehe.

Do you have to save the patches or just run them??

Either way that updates your games...it wont matter. I tend to dl to my desktop all of them, then one by one I update.....only need to do this once for each one, unless you need to uninstall and re install.

Sorry I've been away guys. Schools been taking all of my free time. I dl all of the patches and the darn thing still won't work. Thanks for helping again guys but I just think that my computer has something against this CAS screen. :)

If you have sims PE then open the packages and check the meshes. also do a DL folder scan to see if all your CC is ok. If it say it is not ok then it will not work with your current installation. Just like everyone else here said be sure to double check your DL floder for damaged packages and Remove them. then re-download the meshes and try them again. best way to see if a package is conflicting with another is to move your DL folder to your desk top and put just the mesh in question in your folder and start the game to check it on a fresh lot. That is the only advice as a mesher I can give you. Hope this helps you out of your delema.

If that CAS is big problem in your game, you can download some other CAS from SS2-here are many wonderful CAS screens...

Snowflake is going to make a new one for me to see if that one will work. Thanks guys for trying to help me out. I have see the other CAS screens but I just liked this one the best and I can't wait until I see the new one. Thanks again everyone and a very big thanks to Snowflake.

Hey don't know if this is being read anymore so I'll just put that the problem has been solved. It turns out that I just needed to disable and enable the CC. Thanks again to everyone who helped!!
