Camra Angles!!

Hello!!

Heyy!! i want to make a movie and [[dont laugh]] i need to get some shots of my mermaid sims swimming in the pool, so.. have any camra angels toget a good view?? i heard you press TAB key or something but i dont really know

Hi, have you looked over the different SOS section for any prewritten answers? I know we have some better written than what I am typing here fast for you.
What many of us do, is use a windows version of the game, which allows us to quickly access our photo programs...
anyway I suggest you have your photo edit program open, then using the key on your keyboard "print screen" this is usually found around the f10 keys above or near that section.
When you use print screen, you then go to the photo program and using the edit (at least on mine) you have "paste as new picture" option...then back to game for more....
If you use this way, rather than in game pictures...you can then hit the f10 key...that removes (and returns) the panel in the game, then use the "tab" key, which you will learn to use heheheh, it makes the camera "float" so get ready for sky or grass etc. With the tab key in action, you will be able to use q key for lower, I think it is q w e r to move up and down etc. and the arrow keys for left right etc. there are other keys as well, basically you can "try" any and see if they effect something.
If you end with tab and re hit f10 this should return your panel, if not, do it again till you get back. If your camera ends up messed up, re hit tab, q till you’re at the ground or lowest setting and then tab, and f10 again to get panel that should return you to a manageable camera position.

There should be a guide to them in the Sims 2 box- on the key commands page. If you've lost it, here's a quick guide:

Switch into camera mode and back: TAB key
Rotate left/right in camera mode (CM): , and .
Tilt camera: CTRL, right click and drag
Zoom in/out: +/- or Z/X or use mouse wheel (if you have one)
Move camera: left and right arrow keys
Forward/back: up and down arrow keys
Move faster: SHIFT and left/right key
Lower/raise camera height (only available in CM): Q/E
