what is involved in creating a new meshes?
what's the trick to getting some one any one to take a request?
how long in hours, assuming the project starts and doesn't end till its finished does it take to finish making a new mesh?
why don't people who read request threads ever post to tell the request asker the reasons why there request won't be accepted?
what kinds of things appeal to mesh makers?
do I have a better chance of getting a request done if its some thing you want?
is there any one willing to take a request from me and then take my next request and then my next one?
what programs do you use to make a sims2 object, hair or clothing?
how do I tell my art program to save my file as an object compatible with Sims2?
how do I know when I make an object in a program its the right scale and right physical properties to be correctly made for the game?
what are the names of the programs used in making new meshes?
how can I obtain a free-non-trial pertinent program with out resorting to a P2P program or a bittorent? or shareware or any thing dangerous that might give me a virus?
what gives a mesh maker there motivation and will to complete a project that Im asking for?
and what websites other then insimenator.org not only take requests but will attract enough traffic that a larger number of artist will read and consider my post?

Kay, let me try and answer a few of your questions if I can.
1. Meshing is a very complicated appilcation. There are some really good tutorials at Mod The Sims 2.
2. There is no trick to requests. Most people on sites are very busy with their real lives and the time they have for Simming is usually devoted to the things they are interested in doing. Most creators have spent long hours learning the skills and would like you to take the time and learn as well. Creators are people playing a game and working on a hobby. They are not an online ordering service.

Hi kaykeyser,

Since you've been a member of Sapphiresims2 since July 2007, I believe you already know most of the answers to your questions.

I can only offer one more idea to Martha63's wonderful answers to your long list of questions. First -- make your requests on a Sim site that takes requests. Sapphire Sims2 removed our request section years ago.

You can also browse through our downloads sections. Perhaps we already have the items you want. You might also consider learning to mesh by downloading one of our tutorials or, maybe, one from modthesims2.

The important thing is to just have fun with your game.
