If its winter on the sims 2 pc and penguins come to your house and you click on them but the only options say pet or shoo how come you cant adopt penguins on the sims 2 pc like how you can adopt a cat or a dog at the shelter does anyone know?.

It's just the way maxis made the game *shrugs*
There may be a hack or something out there somewhere,
but I've never really paid attention.
